This bright LED headlamp features the first, true, 3-watt Luxeon™ LED. It will shine bright, white light out to an unprecedented 207 feet for up to 200 hours. Its ergonomic battery compartments will hold four AA batteries, while an external battery pack (included) can attached to a belt or pack and will hold 4 C size batteries, giving you maximum life when needed.

It offers multiple light mode settings; ultra-bright, bright, power-save, and emergency strobe, in a narrow beam spread. The unique circuitry and cooling fin design will prevent overheating of the lamp.

At its brightest setting it will operate for 140 hours on one set of batteries, projecting its beam from 13 to 63 meters (43 to 203 feet). In its "power-save" mode it will operate for 200 hours, projecting its beam 17 to 20 meters (56 to 66 feet). Brunton measures the maximum distance as the point where the light level still exceeds 25 lux, which is roughly equivalent to the amount of light cast by a full moon.
