This Heath/Zenith Solar LED Motion Activated Security light features a polymer housing for long-term durability, swivel arms for omnidirectional light, adjustable arm for aiming the motion sensor, it detects natural light to prevent operation during daylight hours, a test mode for daytime set up, and a selectable motion timer (1 or 5 minutes). This fixture produces light that is equal to a 35-40 watt halogen incandescent lamp. It comes with a replaceable long lasting sealed lead acid batter that will deliver over 2 hours of continuous illumination on a full charge. To conserve battery power, this light has an automatic dimming feature. After all motion has stopped the light will remain at full brightness for 2 1/2 minutes. After 2 1/2 minutes the light will dim to about 1/3 power. The solar panel may be located up to 15' away from the fixture.
Important: During the initial charge keep the sensor switch in the “OFF” position for 3 to 7 days to allow the battery to fully charge before first use.
