This Sea Gull fixture uses an energy efficient 4-pin 13 watt compact fluorescent lamp (included), which will deliver the same amount of light as a 60 watt incandescent fixture. The recessed fixture is both IC rated (insulation contact) and airtight. The housing adjusts vertically to accomodate different ceiling thicknesses. The bar hanger is adjustable up to 24 inches. This fixture will require a 6.5" ceiling hole. The clear lens trim (included) is designed to allow use of the fixture in damp or wet locations, such as in a shower.
