These high efficiency fluorescent lamps are among the highest output compact fluorescent lamps made by GE Lighting. The 2700 degree Kelvin (27K) lamps offer a warm, white light while the color of the 3,000 degree Kelvin lamps (30K) is slightly more neutral. The 55 watt 3000 degrees Kelvin lamp is used in torchieres made by both Good Earth Lighting and GE Lighting. Note that fluorescent lamps are ballast-specific, so you may not use a 55 watt lamp with a ballast made for a 38 watt lamp, and vice versa.
