Low expansion foam will seal and stop the passage of air, water, dust, fibers, insects, and sound into a building. This polyurethane foam is ideal for sealing areas too large to be sealed with a bead of caulk, such as holes through which pipes and wires pass. Sealing these areas can help to reduce your heating and/or air conditioning costs. Ideal for small jobs, this low expansion foam is dispensed directly from the can, and contains no CFCs or urea formaldehyde. Because this can may be held in any direction, it can be used in hard to reach places. Use it to seal cracks, fill holes and insulate joints quickly and easily.
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs), used in the manufacturer of many products, degrade indoor air quality as the VOCs are released into the indoor environment. Using products with lower levels of VOCs, therefore, will have a less adverse impact on indoor air quality. With VOC content of only 130 g/l, this foam satisfies the emission factor limit required by the US Green Building Council LEED for Homes Green Building Rating System (requiring less than 250 VOC g/l).
The foam is formulated to yield 918 linear feet of 1/4" bead (0.4 cubic feet).
