The Attic Laddermate will seals and insulates the attic ladder door and opening, without restricting access. It consists of an R-10 insulated panel with a 2 inch EPS foam and weatherstrip gasket. This one model will fits the four most popular sizes of attic ladders, including 22.5" x 48", 22.5" x 54", 25" x 48", and 25" x 54". It has a 30 inch long push/pull rod and a hinged panel to ease access. On new construction installing an Attic Laddermate beneath the pull-down ladder will eliminate the need for finish trim around the opening.
