There are three steps you can take to help fight global warming.
1) Efficiency: Increased energy efficiency and energy conservation will reduce the amount of electricity that needs to be produced. This, in turn, can lead to a reduction in the emissions of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide.
2) Renewables: Electricity from renewable sources such as solar and wind result in virtually no greenhouse gas emissions. Using solar and wind generated electricity will reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with your electricity use.
3) Offsets: Through purchases of carbon offsets, such as Gift of Green (see below), you can fund projects that will help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, helping you to further reduce your carbon footprint.
