TCP uses non-leaded class in this bulb to help preserve lumen maintenance, and a special cathode mounting process and low volt starting method to help maximize the bulb life. This bulb uses 5 watts of electricity, making it a suitable replacement for a 20-25 watt incandescent light bulb. This model has a semi-frosted glass, meaning the fluorescent coils will be visible inside the bulb.
