The Earthmate T2 spiral is the next generation in compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) miniaturization. The reduced tube size allows for a shorter maximum overall length (MOL), allowing the light bulb to fit in more applications. While all compact fluorescents contain some mercury (so should be disposed of properly), this T2 CFL has only about 1 milligram of mercury, which is less than most other CFLs, making it even better for the environment. This bulb is approximately equivalent in light output to a 40 to 60 watt incandescent light bulb.
This lamp is not suitable for use in enclosed fixtures, emergency exit lights, in outdoor locations where it would be exposed to the elements, or in conjunction with dimmers, photocells, or electronic timers. This lamp contains mercury. Please recycle at the end of its life.
