Using only 14 watts of electricity, each bulb is suitable to replace a 40 to 60 watt incandescent light bulb, and with an average rated life of 8,000 hours each is likely to last as long as 8 incandescent light bulbs.
These "sunlight" bulbs have a color temperature of 6500 degrees Kelvin, which is a very white daylight-like light.
This lamp is not suitable for use in enclosed fixtures, emergency exit lights, in outdoor locations where it would be exposed to the elements, or in conjunction with dimmers, photocells, or electronic timers. This lamp contains mercury. Please recycle at the end of its life.
