The pre-installed disk will permit a maximum flow of 1.5 gallons of water per minute (at 80 psi of water pressure). If you have moderate to moderately high water pressure this flow will offer significant water and energy savings while insuring a strong shower. In regions where water pressure is very high this 1.5 gpm disk may be replaced by an optional disk (included) that limits the flow to 1.3 gpm.
Because this showerhead delivers a non-aerated spray, there will be less mist, less potential risk of Legionnaires Disease, and greater energy savings since the amount of heat dissipation is less than it would be with an aerated spray. The Eco Luxury Showerhead also features an anti-calcium function, minimizing mineral buildup around the face of the showerhead.
