The aerator achieves these savings by limiting water flow to just one-half gallon per minute (at 60 pounds per square inch of water pressure), and rather than delivering a solid aerated stream of water, it delivers a dispersed spray which is fine for washing hands and brushing teeth.

This areator is lead-free, complying with the lead-free safe drinking water standards adopted by California and Vermont (CA Assembly Bill AB1953, VT Senate Bill S.152).
