The dimmer's smooth slide action will permit precise lighting levels to be set in the room. It is a single pole Decora style dimmer with built-in radio frequency filter to eliminate interference with sensitive electronic equipment in the vicinity.

Because of differences in the electrionics of dimmable compact fluorescent bulbs, this dimmer may not work as well with dimmable compact fluorescent light bulbs from other manufacturers. Copper or copper clad wire is required, and the switch must be grounded. The color is ivory. A Decora style cover plate is included.
