This digital timer from Sylvania allows for automatic control of lamps and light appliances. It will plug directly into standard 2-prong wall outlet and permits up to 2 on/off settings per day. It has two sockets, a controlled (timed) socket and a non-controlled socket. Pressing the door allows the controlled socket to be turned on and off manually. The daylight savings time switch allows easy switching to and from daylight daylight savings time. The battery backup saves the program in memory, so the timer won't have to be re-programmed subsequent to a power outage (two CR2032 batteries included).
