During the day sunlight will charge the internal Ni-MH batteries. Each evening, the batteries will power 6 white LEDs. The fixture has a patented cone reflector to facilitate light distribution. No maintenance is required, as the powder-coated cast-aluminum fixture is weather resistant. With sufficient sunlight, the solar post light fixture will turn on automatically at dusk every night, and remain on until dawn. A manual on/off switch is available if needed. The color of the light delivered is cool white.
