Save on energy efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs.

You will find a large selection of ENERGY STAR qualified compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) and fixtures available at the PNM/EFI online store. Because they are more energy efficient than traditional incandescent bulbs and fixtures, they reduce household electricity use, and save you money. Savings from the PNM Home Lighting Discount are already built into the price of the CFLs featured on this site, giving you one more reason to start using energy efficient CFLs today. To order from this site you must be a PNM residential electric customer (limit of 24 bulbs per order).

Replacing a 100-watt incandescent light bulb with a 25-watt compact fluorescent bulb will save 136 kWh of electricity annually, and can reduce associated carbon dioxide emissions by 182 pounds (based on 5 hours per day use and 1.34 lbs CO2/kWh).
