This decorative floor lamp with a brushed steel finish from Technical Consumer Products (TCP) is a dedicated compact fluorescent table lamp. This means that you will never have to be concerned about an incandescent light bulb being used in this fixture, since there is no socket for an incandescent light bulb to be screwed into - only a lamp holder for a circular 32 watt fluorescent bulb. The socket is controlled by a three-way switch, allowing for three distinct levels of light. At its lowest setting the light output is roughly equivalent to that of a 40 to 55 watt incandescent lightbulb, and at the high setting the light level is equivalent to a 120 watt incandescent. light bulb. The shade is a rice paper-style white textured shade.
