This Philips A-Shape Bulb is suitable for general use. The glass diffuser will provide a soft, pleasant quality light. This bulb is an appropriate replacement for a 50 to 60 watt incandescent light bulb. The lamp uses amalgam technology that will result in more stable light output over a range of temperatures.
