The latest innovation in energy efficient light bulbs are narrow, smaller versions of conventional spirals. This mini-spiral from Harmony Lighting has a narrow 1.4 inch wide ballast and tapered glass tubes. This 15 watt bulb can replace a 60 watt incandescent. This compact fluorescent bulbs is rated to last for 10,000 hours, which is as long as 10-13 incandescent light bulbs.
