The innovative design and revolutionary interface of the Globe enersaver® 24 volt Spin-N-Click thermostat make it very easy to use, allowing for the operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems with precision and simplicity. The thermostat has an embedded control button and a recessed scolll wheel. Through these two controls, all the features and menus of the thermostat can be accessed. The temperature setpoint can be changed with a flick of a finger, and the thernmostat, temperature, or fan controls modes may be quickly selected.
During programming, you may associate each of the thermostat's operation modes with one of 64 different backlit colors, making it easy to tell at a glance what the system is doing based on the color of the 2.75" x 2.0" screen. With automatic changeover, the heating system will engage the heating and cooling system as needed to maintain the desired temperature.
Other features include an intermittent fan setting, helping save energy by operating the fan for just 10 minutes out of each half-hour; a security setting, ensuring that programs stay set, and dual-power, allowing it to be run off either 24 volt current or 2 "AA" batteries, so it can replace older manual mercury thermostats that did not need low-voltage current.
This thermostat is compatible with most heating systems that require a low voltage thermostat, including furnaces (oil, gas, electric, hydronic), single stage heating & cooling, multistage heating and cooling, heating only, cooling only, steam or gravity systems, heat pump only systems, and heat pump systems with auxiliary heat. The temperature accuracy rating is +/- 1.0 degrees Fahrenheit.
